Your payroll files

The checker at /app/ runs entirely in your web browser. Payroll files you open are read and compared on your own computer. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

• The checker page sets a browser rule (a Content Security Policy with connect-src 'none') that blocks it from making any network request. Anyone can see this rule in the browser's developer tools.
• Your past checks, sign-offs and settings are saved in your browser's storage on your computer. Clearing your browser data deletes them, so save a backup file if you want to keep them.
• Backup files are created on your computer and saved wherever you choose. We never receive them.
• There are no analytics, trackers or cookies inside the checker.

This website

• Early-access form. If you fill it in, we store what you typed (email, payroll system, company size and your note) so we can contact you about Second Pair of Eyes. We don't sell it or share it.
• Page counts. The landing page counts anonymous actions per day, such as "page viewed" or "sample check opened". These counts aren't linked to you.
• Spam limits. To stop form spam we keep a scrambled, one-way code made from your IP address and the date, for one day. We don't store the IP address itself.
• The site sets no cookies.
• The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes web requests to deliver the pages.

Deleting your information

To remove your early-access details, reply to any email from us and ask, and we'll delete them.
